Biotechnology brings breakthrough in medicine and research. It also enhanced economic growth and become a huge market. Biotechnology is the arena that many countries compete. It is also a major area that our government fosters. It comes the question that how health policies play a part in biotechnology development. This course introduces the current biotechnology, and discuss the interaction among biotechnology, science, policy, regulation, ethics and social issues.
